IN PHOTO: Director Judith Dongallo – Chicano of Civil Service Commission National Capital Region (CSC-NCR) conducted a two day re-orientation on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) to PCSO Division Chiefs and PCSO Performance Management Team (PMT).

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through the Administrative Sector Assistant General Manager Julieta F. Aseo and OIC-Manager Cynthia Amelia C. Regudo of the Human Resources Department, conducted a two-day in-house Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Training Workshop on February 7 and 8, 2023, in the Training Room of the Shaw Plaza Building in Mandaluyong City.

The main objective of the training is to brief and reorient the participants on the guidelines of the SPMS, as well as to ensure alignment of employee performance with organizational goals. The said activity includes a workshop on crafting the Office Performance Commitment Review (OPCR) to ensure that the success indicators for the major final outputs are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound (SMART).

The SPMS training was facilitated by NCR Director IV Judith Dongallo-Chicano, assisted by CSC Senior Human Resource Specialist Vincent N. Fabella. The topics discussed include performance planning and commitment, monitoring and coaching, performance rewarding, and development planning.

A total of fifty-six (56) participants attended the first batch of the training activity composed of members of the SPMS Performance Management Team (PMT), members of SPMS secretariat, Division Chiefs/OIC-Division Chiefs, from the Main Office and San Marcelino Office and other PCSO personnel with supervisory functions. The training concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the resource speakers as well as a photo opportunity for PCSO officials and participants on February 8, 2023.
