With its theme “Your Gateway to the World,” this year’s expo brought together both local and international partners to showcase unbeatable travel discounts, exclusive packages, and flexible payment terms. Highlight destinations included Boracay, Cebu, and Bohol, as well as international favorites such as Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam—providing options for leisure, culture, and faith-based tourism.

A major highlight of TSE 2025 was the expanded collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Tourism (DOT), which spotlighted Filipino culture and local products, strengthening the Philippines’ identity in the global tourism landscape. The event also emphasized Muslim-friendly travel and ASEAN connectivity, underscoring its inclusive and forward-looking approach.

“The Travel Sale Expo is about more than just promoting destinations. It is about creating opportunities, jobs, and connections that benefit the entire tourism value chain,” said GTBA Founding Chair and TSE Chairperson Michelle Taylan. “Our mission is to democratize travel, making dream trips accessible, affordable, and stress-free for every Filipino.”

Beyond exclusive deals, attendees enjoyed surprise performances, interactive booths, and travel essentials pop-ups from global brands, creating an immersive experience for travelers and industry stakeholders alike.

The event was graced by government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and tourism leaders, including DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, DTI Director Elmer Gujapal, DFA Assistant Secretary Rhenita B. Rodriguez, and Senator of Guam Hon. Shelley Calvo, among others.

Since its debut in 2023, the Travel Sale Expo has grown into a cornerstone of the Philippine tourism calendar. Organizers have announced that the 2026 edition promises to be even bigger, continuing its mission of unlocking more gateways for Filipinos to see the world—one affordable trip at a time.
