Amb. Philippe Jones Lhuillier joined the groundbreaking ceremony of Hotel 101 Global in Madrid on 13 March 2024. Hotel 101 Global, a Filipino-owned company, will be opening its first location in Europe in 2026. The 680-room hotel will be located a stone’s throw away from the Real Madrid training camp and will overlook a section of track of Formula 1 in Madrid.
In his remarks, Ambassador Lhuillier observed that the future of the Philippines-Spain trade and investment partnership gleams with great promise and said that, “We are now poised to embark, like the galleons of old, on a journey of enhanced economic cooperation and prosperity.”
